Grace Meier

Grace Meier studied Music Education, Elementary Education, and Special Education at Indiana University. A highlight of her education were three semesters of student teaching in urban Indianapolis public schools. Following two years of teaching Special Education, she made the hard decision to leave the world of education and dedicate fully to Deoc. Although Grace misses her students, working for Deoc is truly a dream come true!

When did you first start playing with Deoc?

Deoc formed when Grace and Sean were in 8th grade (yes, 14 years old)! We had been playing in a chamber group as part of the New World Youth Orchestras and came up with the name on the spot. While we played only a handful of gigs during high school and college, we decided to make it official in 2017, launching our first website and social media.
